-
- Second try at this. My provider seems to have modems that freeze every
- few minutes, so hopefully I can get this out before getting stuck again...
-
- Anyway, Automount is selected, as is Bootable.
-
- here's a quick run-through on what does and does not work.
-
- If I run the HDSetup program, it correctly creates two working
- partitions. If I go in with HDToolBox at this point, both Automount and
- (for the first partition) Bootable is set.
-
- However, upon reboot... neither shows up. From CLI, it doesn't recognize
- DH0: or DH1:... Implying that the system can't recognize it, although I
- watch the HD LED on startup and it does "see" the drive there then.
-
- So if I then run HDToolBox, it lists the partitions, as they were, and
- also shows Automount and Bootable as being selected... Yet, if I make any
- changes, when I click the button "Save Changes to Drive", it swtiches the
- "Changed" line in the Status Window (which lists the drive) to "Not
- Changed"...
-
- If anyone can help me with it, I'd really appreciate it. As I've already
- returned the drive once, I highly doubt it is the drive... And I really
- hope it isn't the computer, as I can't afford a new one.
-
- Any suggestions would really be appreciated...
-
- Thanks...
